July 4th Cookout Recipe Roundup

July 4th marks the middle of cookout season in Rock Hill. With Memorial Day on one side and Labor Day on the other, Independence Day celebrations are the high point of the backyard bashes.

Over the years the Rock Hill Coca-Cola Bottling Company has shown you a lot of recipes designed to make your grilling great. This month we’re rounding up some of our favorites. With these recipes and plenty of Coca-Cola products at hand, your July 4th cookout menu is all but planned out.

Best Marinade Ever

Start with the Best Marinade Ever. Get the meat in the marinade a day or two ahead of time for the juiciest results. This recipe works for just about everything you plan to throw on the grill.

BBQ Ribs

Get these fall-off-the-bone ribs going a little earlier in the day. Slow and steady does the trick here. Don’t worry…there’s plenty more main dishes to come.

BBQ Sauces

If you want other sauce options for the ribs, check out these recipes all made with Coca-Cola products. Any of these can be made ahead of time and will keep throughout the weekend in the refrigerator.

Grilled Chicken

If you and your backyard guests prefer poultry, this Sprite Grilled Chicken is for you.

Hamburgers

What July 4th cookout would be complete without the All-American Burger? This recipe uses Coke for extra juicy burgers. Don’t forget all the fixings!

Baked Beans

These baked beans using Barq’s Root Beer are a perfect side item. You can make them in a slow-cooker or in a charcoal fired Dutch oven.

Apple Cobbler

Sure apple pie has been the go-to American dessert, but this apple cobbler is way easier! Just dump the ingredients, apply the heat, and wait.

Coca-Cola Cake

One more dessert option to round out the menu. This moist chocolate cake can be made a day ahead, saving you time and trouble on the big cookout day.

Enjoy and Be Safe!

Happy Independence Day from all of us here at Rock Hill Coke! We hope that your day is filled with family, fun, and, of course, fireworks!
