St. Patrick’s Day Festivities around Rock Hill

Spring rolls in to Rock Hill in 2022 as life slowly but surely returns to something like normal. The Rock Hill Coca-Cola Bottling Company is glad to see the community gearing up for two different St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Over a week this March, wannabe leprechauns can catch a little luck o’ the Irish in Clover and in Rock Hill. Both celebrations are free to the public. So clad yourself in green, brush up on your brogue, and check out the festivities!

Clover’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival

The Clover Downtown Historic District will host its St. Patrick’s Day Festival a few days early. The event will run from 6 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Friday Night Kick-Off event will take place in the Boyd Tire and Appliance’s Parking Lot. Enjoy live music with York County’s own Fiftywatt Freight Train.

On Saturday the live entertainment continues on the Walnut Street Music Stage with Ghosts of Bannockburn from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and The Tim Clark Band from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

You can also enjoy all the pups at the dog show. The fun begins at 1 p.m. at the Family Stage on Knox Street.

Ride the rides. Visit the vendors. Pretend to be Irish for a day!

Rock Hill’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival

You’ll have a week of green-wearing to make it to the next St. Patrick’s event. The City of Rock Hill will present Rock Hill’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival a couple of days late, on March 19th. A wide range of festivities will run from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will take place on Main Street in Downtown Rock Hill.

Musical acts include Stirling Bridge, Gregg Parrish, and Trip Rogers performing solo acoustic.

You can climb the rock wall, throw an axe, bounce in a house, slip down a slide, or hang on for dear life to the mechanical bull.

Kids will enjoy the special Kids Zone activities.

Food from a wide variety of vendors will be available throughout the day.
